How artwork is created

Every piece is made for you alone.

Your description is interpreted by the studio and painted as an original botanical illustration — species, season and setting chosen to be true to the British countryside. Nothing is taken from a library of stock images.

Because each piece is created individually, the same description will never produce the same artwork twice.

Good descriptions

Say where it lives, what’s in it, and how it should feel.

• “A pair of robins among winter rosehips, soft snow light, muted heritage greens.”
• “An English cottage garden in late June — foxgloves, delphiniums and a wren.”
• “A single hellebore stem studied on aged paper, in the manner of a naturalist's notebook.”
• “Ferns, ivy and bramble for a hallway pattern, deep forest tones.”

Less helpful

• “Nice flowers”
• “Something for my wall”
• “A famous storybook rabbit”

After your artwork appears

• Approve it if you love it — approved artwork is kept safely in My Designs.
• Not quite right? Adjust a few words in your description and create another version. Most favourites arrive on the second or third try.
• Once approved, open the studio for your chosen product and we prepare print-ready files for you to download.

Selling your work

Your artwork is yours to use.

Personal use is included with every membership. A Studio membership adds a commercial licence, so you can sell prints, cards and products made from your designs.

How does Swift & Vine create artwork?

Every piece of artwork is individually created using AI from your description.

No two generations are ever exactly the same.

Like working with an artist, every interpretation is unique.

Why doesn't my artwork look exactly like I imagined?

AI creates original artwork based on your description.

Sometimes the first result may not perfectly match the picture in your mind. This is completely normal.

If you're not happy with the first result, try adjusting your description or generating another version.

Many customers find they achieve their favourite artwork after refining their description.

Why does my artwork look different from somebody else's?

Every image is generated individually.

Even identical descriptions can produce different results.

This uniqueness is one of the things that makes every piece of Swift & Vine artwork special.

Can I generate famous characters?

No. Swift & Vine cannot intentionally create copyrighted characters or well-known fictional properties.

For example:

Instead, describe the feeling, setting or atmosphere you would like — that's usually where the loveliest results come from.
